St Kilda stars Nick Riewoldt and Nick Dal Santo have signed new three year deals tying them to the club until the end of the 2010 season.

Riewoldt, a co-captain since the start of this season, confirmed there had been interest from other AFL clubs but said he was delighted to be staying with the Saints.

"As far as I'm concerned, and I'm sure Nick was the same, we never really wanted to leave the club," Riewoldt said. "We're in for the long haul."

Player manager Ricky Nixon said "a number" of clubs had expressed interest in both players for more than the final amount of their new contracts.

"Probably fair to say double, round about double," Nixon said.
