Second elimination final Collingwood v Sydney (MCG) - 41,600 tickets sold.
First qualifying final (series ticket match) Geelong v Kangaroos (MCG) - 52,600 tickets sold.
CROWDS
THE biggest crowd to attend an elimination final was at last year's Collingwood versus Western Bulldogs match won by the Dogs before 84,284 people. The lowest crowd was the year before when just 25,195 went to see Port Adelaide beat the Kangaroos by 87 points.IT'S HISTORY
FIFTY years ago, in the 1957 grand final, Melbourne defeated Essendon to win its third consecutive flag.
